Wedrzyn (Polish: Wędrzyn, German: Wandern) is a village in the Sulecin / Miedzyrzecz area of the province of Lubuskie in the west of Poland. It is probably best known for its large military training ground, which was originally established by the Germans and after the war as a Soviet army base. Since the end of Communism it has become a Polish army base and is often used as a practice area by NATO troops from the USA, Canada, and Great Britain. Back to Międzyrzecz main page.
